Sundance Film Festival 2017 – Arrival [Photos+Video]

On January 22, the UnREAL star Shiri Appleby was seen in good spirits as she arrived at the Salt Lake City airport in Utah for the Sundance Film Festival 2017. The actress was busy promoting and attending the premieres of her latest projects, “Lemon” and “The Strangers”.

New Movie With Shiri Appleby “Lemon”

On December 1st, 2016 Shiri posted a photo along with her co-star Brett Gelman on Instagram and announced: “I made a lovely film with this handsome fella @brettgelman this summer and it will now have its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival!! So happy for everyone involved in LEMON 🍋”

Comedian Brett Gelman and director Janicza Bravo co-wrote “Lemon”. The movie first aired at the Sundance Film Festival on Sunday, January 22nd at 9 PM. A schedule with more screenings is available here.

Shiri plays Ruthie, the sister of the protagonist in the dark comedy.

Her former Roswell guest-star and Dating Rules actor is part of this movie as well. We now know, that the paths of Martin Starr and Shiri Appleby crossed once again when they both were on set of this movie. Judy Greer, Michael Cera, Nia Long, Fred Melamed, Megan Mullally, Gillian Jacobs and Jeff Garlin are also starring.

Synposis

Isaac Lachmann has seen better days. His acting career is tanking, while his colleagues succeed; his blind girlfriend of 10 years plans to leave him; and his own family singles him out as a constant disappointment at their latest reunion. Even as he takes a chance on new romance, Isaac struggles to define his place in a world that has seemingly turned against him.
