Shiri Appleby Q & A

Roswell Fan: Kirsty / prettylittleroswellian
Question: How do you feel about Roswell fans following your work? For example going to the Toronto Film Festival to see you and your film, or buying DVD's from you previous films? Do you mind being reffered back to your time on Roswell?
p.s. Thank you for all your time spent on promoting Roswell (Japan you star!) and giving us brilliant commentaries!

Shiri Appleby: I really appreciate the fact that people are still interested in what I am working on now post Roswell. Hopefully they enjoy the material I am choosing to be apart of. I hold absolutely no resentment at all that people still refer back to Roswell. I still think it was a very special show and that time was really important to me as well. It's nice to know that I am not the only one with those feelings.

Questin: How wuld you say has Roswell changed your life and how do you look back at the experience on the set?

Shiri Appleby: Roswell had a huge impact on my life but now only providing me with tons of opportunities and experience but by giving me a place to really learn and grow. I look back now on it as a great learning experience.

Question: Hey Shiri, I'd first like to tell you that I loved you in Roswell!! And now my question: What is you're favorite behind the scenes story of "Roswell" that you had with Jason Behr? (All Dreamers would love to know!)

Shiri Appleby: My favorite Jason Behr moment was the first time we met in Jason Katims office. He was wearing a necklace with a bear claw on it and I thought he had a really easy, natural way about him. We got along great and he really made my last audition an easy one.

Roswell Fan: Eric Longoria
Question: Well, first off I LOVE YOU SHIRI!!!, but besides that I recently saw you in the music video for Gavin DeGraws' "I Don't Want To Be," and you were also in Sense Fields "Save Yourself," (your where great in both) so what are your standards for choosing which music videos to be in? As far as music video's go, I have done every one that I have been asked to do. Thankfully I really like the music and the artists that I have worked with.

Shiri Appleby: As far as music video's go, I have done every one that I have been asked to do. Thankfully I really like the music and the artists that I have worked with.

Question: Shiri, if yu could change one thing about Liz Parker, what would change? Thanks

Shiri Appleby: If I could change one thing about Liz I guess it would have to be that she would have started standing up for herself much earlier. But overall I really like the development the writers created for her.

Question: Hey Shiri. How different is it to be working away from Roswell and its cast? Do you miss the show and the cast?

Shiri Appleby: I really enjoy moving from one project to the next because you get to meet all different types of people, learn about them and with them and then carry that with you to the next. But it would be really nice to have some constant buddies to go through that with, basically to compare notes. So in that regard it would be great to have Majandra with me still.

Question: First on behalf of Roswell fans let me say, Thanks for everything Shiri! Secondly my question is concerning … I know you never guessed … the Roswell movie! I know I know, but you just can't have enough of a good thing now can you?! You said once that if Roswell still had a story to tell you would be around to tell it … is that still the case for you … or have you had a change of heart? Thanks again Shiri!

Shiri Appleby: In terms of this movie, if they could come up with a compelling story and somehow manage to wrangle the original cast, I would be apart of it.

Roswell Fan: Momo
Question: Shiri, thanks for making yourself so available to Roswell fans everywhere and for your continuing support of the program (namely your recent DVD promo tour). Here's my question: Now that Max and Liz are officially married, what kind of future do you envision for the two of them -- college, children, intergalactic travel, a fulfilment of Madame Vivian's Tarot card reading, all the aforementioned or something entirely different?

Shiri Appleby: I just hope that Liz and Max have settled into a calm lifestyle free of all the alien drama. And that they are still out there trying to do good in the world ...
